Agnes Johnstone – Widow of Jimmy

Agnes and Jimmy were together for over 40 years and nursed Jimmy through his Motor Neurone disease in his last 4 years.

Billy McNeill – Close friend

Billy was captain of the Lisbon Lions and the ex manager of Celtic.

Bertie Auld – Close friend

Bertie was also one of the Lisbon Lions and signed for Celtic 3 times.  He travelled the world with jimmy tying to find a cure for motor Neurone Disease.

Tommy Gemmell – Close Friend

Tommy was another one of the Lions and scored one of the goals on that fantastic day in Lisbon.  As manager of Dundee, Tommy actually signed Jimmy as a player.

Ian Henderson – Close Friend

Ian was Co Organiser of the Jimmy Johnstone Tribute Dinner and again travelled the world with Jimmy and Bertie, to try and find a cure for Motor Neurone Disease.

John Clifford – Close friend

John was also Co organiser of the official tribute dinner and through his company Roadshow was one of Jimmy’s supporters financially.

Rab McLuckie – Close friend

Rab is the Chairman of the Jinky Johnstone Trust.  Rab has been involved with Jimmy since 2004 and has been a major supporter in setting up the Jinky Johnstone Trust.
